Kaique Pacheco 2017 San Jose Recap

October 23, 2017

Kaique Pacheco went 1 for 3 this weekend finishing in a tie for second in round 1 and earned 62.50 standings points.  Kaique dropped one position to fourth in the world standings with 3812.5 points, 452.50 points behind new world leader Derek Kolbaba.  Pacheco has now qualified for his third consecutive world finals event (2015 – 2017).

Up Next for BFTS: the 2017 Built Ford Tough World Finals, presented by PBR is the final event of the 2017 season.   The PBR moves to T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV Wednesday November 1st through Sunday November 5th.  Event local start times are 6:15 p.m. PST Wed – Thurs – Fri, 7:15 PST Saturday and 12:45 pm PST Sunday afternoon.

PBR Live will stream all rounds in real time starting Wednesday night 8:30 pm EST.

Kaique Pacheco 2017 Nampa Recap

Kaique Pacheco went 1 for 2 this weekend.  His lone ride Sunday afternoon was not enough to qualify him for the event championship round.  Pacheco dropped one position in the standing to third with 3740 points, 365 points from the current leader Eduardo Aparecido.

Kaique bucked off his 15 / 15 Bucking Battle attempt Saturday night.

Up Next for BFTS: the Frontier Communications Invitational, presented by Cooper Tires is the next stop and 25th event in the 2017 season.   The PBR moves to PNC Arena in Raleigh, NC Saturday October 14th and Sunday October 15th.  Event local start times are 6:45 p.m. ET Saturday, and 1:45 pm ET Sunday afternoon.

Round 1 from Raleigh will be available on demand on PBR.com and the PBR app starting at 8 a.m. ET on Oct. 15.

Kaique Pacheco went 1 for 3 this weekend and earned 45 standings points finishing 11th in the event.  Kaique is currently in Second place in the PBR world standings with 3740 points

Kaique Pacheco went 1 for 2 this weekend and failed to earn any world standings points.  Kaique dropped out of first place and is currently second with 3696 points, 130 points behind fellow Brazilian Eduardo Aparecido.

Kaique Pacheco went 1 for 3 and finished 14th earning 5 world standings.  However he was successful in the 15 / 15 Bucking Battle securing first overall in the PBR world standings with 3695 points.

Kaique rode his 15 / 15 Bucking Battle draw for 90.50 points, good for second place and 90 world standings points.

Kaique Pacheco 2017 Springfield Recap

Kaique Pacheco went a combined 1 for 5 this weekend taking advantage of only 2 rides in round 3 for a second place finish and 60 round points.  1 of 5 may not sound like much, but that ride halted a career tying streak of eight consecutive buck offs dating back to the final round in Nashville.   He qualified for the event championship round but he came up short of the 8 seconds.  Kaique earned 65 points and remains first overall in the PBR world standings with 3600 points.

Up Next for BFTS: the Wrangler Long Live Cowboys Classic, presented by Frontier Communications is the next stop, and 21st event in the 2017 season.   The PBR moves to the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, TX, Saturday September 16th and Sunday September 17th.  Event local start times are 6:45 p.m. CT Saturday, and 1:45 pm CT Sunday afternoon.  Austin is also home to the season’s ninth 15 / 15 Bucking Battle, which will take place Saturday night and be televised Sunday September 17th on CBS at 3:00 PM ET.

Kaique Pacheco went a combined 0 for 3 this weekend but qualified for the event championship round based on the current PBR world standings.  Only nine riders qualified based on score, and BFTS championship rounds require a minimum ten (10) contestants.  With Pacheco leading the circuit he entered in the 10th spot but he was unable to take advantage of the opportunity.  Kaique remains first overall with 3535 world standings points.

Kaique failed to convert in the 15 / 15 Bucking Battle Saturday night.

Kaique Pacheco 2017 Las Vegas Recap

For the second year in a row Kaique Pacheco was the Last Cowboy Standing as he came out on top after three rounds at Helldorado Days. His 2 for 3 performance highlighted by his first BFTS 90 point bull ride of the season in round 3 secured the event title. Kaique earned 825 standings points and he remains second in the PBR world standings with 2835 points; 180 points from the top spot.

In 27 total PBR events to date, Pacheco has twelve top 10 and ten top 5 finishes; he’s ridden a series best 38 of 66 bulls or 57.58% and earned a series best $304,364.60. BFTS event wins in Kansas City (15 / 15 Bucking Battle), St. Louis, and Las Vegas (PBR Major) and Velocity Tour event wins in Hidalgo, TX and Denver, CO has Kaique favorably in second place poised to make another run at the PBR world title.

Up Next: Helldorado Days marks the end of the first half of the 2017 PBR BFTS series. Riders will remain active in all PBR sanctioned tours through the summer months leading up to the next BFTS event August 12 – 13 in Tulsa. I will continue to update you as needed.

Kaique Pacheco went 2 for 3 this weekend, highlighted by a third place finish in the event championship round. For the second week in a row, Pacheco finished fourth in the event and earned 155 world standings points. He is currently second in the PBR world standings with 2010 points.

Pacheco failed to ride his 15 / 15 Bucking Battle bull.

Up Next: the third PBR Major of the season, Last Cowboy Standing at Las Vegas Helldorado Days is the 16th stop in the 2017 season as the PBR moves to Las Vegas, NV at the Las Vegas Village May 12th – 13th. The two-day event will offer increased world points and $100,000 for the last cowboy standing in the unique “ride or go home” format.
