Re: Iron Cowboy in Arlington, TX results

More than 46,000 fans packed AT&T Stadium, making the 2018 Iron Cowboy the largest single-day event in PBR history.  The previous high attendance at the venue came at the inaugural event in 2010 with a crowd of 31,651.  Street and Smith’s Sports Business Daily recognized the PBR’s ticket sales efforts this morning.

Kaique Pacheco went 0 for 1 and failed to move on to round 2.  He is currently 16th in the PBR world standings with 492.50 points.

It was announced over the weekend that Kaique has qualified and will compete for Team Brazil in the second leg of the inaugural PBR Global Cup at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia, on June 9-10.

By invitation based on his 2017 final standings placement, Kaique competed in The American Sunday afternoon at AT&T Stadium.  He went 0 for 1 and failed to move on to the championship round.

Kaique Pacheco went 0 for 2 this past weekend failing to earn world standings points.  He is currently 16th in the PBR world standings with 492.50 points.

Up Next for PBR’s Premier Series:  the 25th PBR: Unleash the Beast moves to Arlington, TX for the WinStar World Casino and Resort Iron Cowboy, powered by Kawasaki at AT&T Stadium.   The eighth stop in the 2018 season is a single day event, Saturday February 24th at 5:50 pm CT.  The second PBR Major of the season is a progressive-elimination format competition.  Each of the Top 35 bull riders in the 25th PBR: Unleash the Beast as well as five Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour winners will ride one bull in Round 1.  If a rider successfully covers his bull, he will advance to the next round.  If he gets bucked off, he is finished. Through a minimum of two, and a maximum of five rounds, these athletes will continue to ride until one cowboy prevails and is declared the Iron Cowboy for a $100,000 payout.

CBS Sports Network will air Inside the Majors at 10:00 pm ET; a pre-show dedicated to the second PBR Major and follow that with rounds 1 and 2 beginning at 10:30 ET Saturday February 24th.

CBS Network TV will air the championship round Sunday February 25th at 12:00 pm ET.

RidePass, PBR’s new streaming service will air Iron Cowboy in its entirety beginning Saturday night at 7:30 pm ET.  ON – DEMAND replay is available 8:00 am next day at Ridepass.com.

Kaique Pacheco went 2 for 4 highlighted by a second place finish in round 3, and qualifying for his first event championship round of the year.  Pacheco earned 67.50 points and is currently eighth in the PBR world standings with 492.50 points.

For the second time this season Kaique covered his 15 / 15 Bucking Battle bull and once again he won the special round.  Pacheco earned 150 world standings points for his effort.

Kaique Pacheco went 1 for 3 this past weekend but he made the one ride count by winning round 2 and maximizing his point’s potential.  Kaique earned 150 world standings points and finished 10th in the event.  He is currently fourth in the world standings with 275 points.

Kaique covered his 15 / 15 Bucking Battle bull and won the event.  With the win he earned 150 world standings points.

Kaique Pacheco 2018 World Finals Recap

Kaique Pacheco went 2 for 6 this past weekend finishing 11th in the finals event and earned 160 world standings points.  Kaique dropped one position to fifth in the final world standings with 3972.5 points, 890 points behind world number one.

For the third year in a row, Kaique finished inside the top five PBR final world standings.  Pacheco successfully rode to two BFTS event wins (St. Louis and Las Vegas), six BFTS event round wins and the Kansas City 15 / 15 Bucking Battle.  Kaique also added marque non PBR BFTS event wins at the Denver Stock Show in January, and the prestigious Americana – SP event while competing in PBR Brazil over the summer.  Kaique spent 4 weeks atop the standings and in all he competed in 49 events, had 64 rides in 126 attempts for 50.79% riding percentage.  Yearly earnings topped out at $405,775 pushing his career earnings to $1,282,246.

He will also compete for Team Brazil at the upcoming World Cup held in Edmonton, AB Canada.

Up Next for PBR: for those riders that qualified to represent their country, Edmonton, Alberta Canada will host the 2017 PBR World Cup Friday November 9th and Saturday November 10th.  Rogers Place Arena will host teams representing USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia and Brazil.
